  4. How many fire incidents have there been as a result of the bookshelves at tube entrances which has led to the decision to ban them? Why aren't the same principles of this policy being applied to the Metro newspaper - which is more likely to be a fire hazard given they left on trains/platforms - or shops located in the entrances to tube stations.

  6. Can you tell me why the community book swap scheme at London Tube stations is banned, but the free newspapers can be distributed at stations? How many calls has LFB attended because of the fire caused by the Community book swap since 2011, when the first one opened? How many calls to London Underground stations have there been where the free newspapers have caused the start of a fire, and again, since 2011 If the answer to the last two questions is zero, then can you explain why books have been banned and free newspapers have not? Finally, as the book program has been around for quite some time, why has it taken so long for LFB to ban the book swap

  8. I would like to request under the Freedom of Information Act the number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) received by London Fire Brigade from local authorities and TfL (Transport for London). I would like to know the number of PCNs received by type of vehicle (eg: pump ladder; command units; turntable ladders etc) I would also like to know the number of PCNs by type (eg: parking tickets; bus lane infringements; yellow box junction infringements) I would also like to know which local authority or TfL issued the ticket.
