I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information regarding the London Fire Brigade’s Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capabilities and operations. Specifically, I would like to request the following information: USAR Official Logo A copy or official description of the LFB Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) logo or insignia, if one exists. USAR Vehicles A full list of all current operational and non operational USAR vehicles within the LFB fleet, including their make, model and designated call signs or station assignments. USAR Equipment A detailed breakdown of the primary equipment carried on each USAR vehicle, including the purpose or operational use of each major piece of equipment. USAR Uniform Information on the uniforms worn by USAR personnel, including the different types of uniform (e.g., operational, technical rescue, or protective) and the circumstances or incident types in which each is used. USAR Deployment Procedure Information on who authorises or gives the go ahead for USAR team deployment within London or for national assistance. USAR Station Locations A list of LFB fire stations that have USAR units based at them. I would prefer to receive the information electronically via email if possible.
