I would like to request the number of house fires over the last five years that were due to an electrical fault.
If it is possible I would also like this broken up by town in your authority.

Our Data team have let us know that, from 01 of July 2021 to 01 July 2026, there were 5,309 dwelling fires where the main cause was ‘Faulty fuel supplies – Electricity’, or the main cause was ‘Fault in equipment or appliance' and the parent ignition source was ‘electricity supply’ or the ignition source power was ‘electricity’.
