Response

Please see my response to each of your requests in turn below:

1. The fire safety audit or inspection report arising from the Brigade's visit to the building on 15 July 2026, including the outcome and any findings, deficiencies or actions required.

Our Fire Safety Regulatory team have let me know that, as of the date of your FOI request on 17 July 2026, an audit record is open for this address. As such, no decisions have been made about this audit that can be shared with you in this FOI response. The inspecting officer has three months to complete their audit findings from the date of inspection. Once this audit record has been completed LFB will be able to share the outcome with you and we would welcome a further request from you to obtain this information once the audit is complete.

2. Any other fire safety audit or inspection reports for the building, including the outcome of each audit.

Our Fire Safety Regulatory team have let me know that the inspection on 15 July 2026 was the first fire safety audit undertaken by LFB at this address.

3. Any enforcement notices, alterations notices, prohibition notices or deficiency notices issued in respect of the building.

As no previous fire safety audits have taken place at this address, no enforcement notices, alterations notices, prohibition notices or deficiency notices have been issued in respect of the building.

4. Any correspondence between the Brigade and the responsible person or managing agent (Lotus Living) concerning fire safety at the building.

I have reviewed the information provided to me by our Fire Safety Regulatory team and none is correspondence between the Brigade and the responsible person or managing agent (Lotus Living) concerning fire safety at the building.

5. Any copy of the building's fire risk assessment held by the Brigade.

As the enforcing authority under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005, (RRO) the Brigade does not provide, or carry out fire risk assessments (FRA) as this is the responsibility of the responsible persons (RP).  Whilst on some occasions the RP may provide documents to the Inspecting Officer (IO) we are under no obligation to retain them.

I have reviewed the information provided to me by our Fire Safety Regulatory team and none is a copy of the building's Fire Risk Assessment.

If the report from the 15 July 2026 visit has not yet been finalised at the time this request is processed, please provide any records of the visit that are held and advise when the report will exist so I can request it.

The inspecting officer has three months to complete their audit findings from the date of inspection. Once this audit record has been completed LFB will be able to share the outcome with you and we would welcome a further request from you to obtain this information once the audit is complete.
