Response
A fire safety audit record was opened for 43-45 Camden Road, NW1 9LR at the end of July 2026, following receipt of an alleged fire risk. As the audit record is open for this address, no decisions have been made about this audit that can be shared with you in this FOI response. Once the fire safety audit record has been completed (usually within three months from the date of an inspection LFB will be able to share the outcome with you and, we would welcome a further request from you to obtain this information once the audit is complete.
Individuals reporting an alleged fire risk to the London Fire Brigade do so with an expected level of confidence that the information they provide will be handled appropriately and not disclosed into the public domain. Disclosure would therefore undermine that expectation of confidence and could deter individuals from reporting potential fire safety concerns in the future. LFB considers that disclosure of the requested information would constitute an breach of that confidence. Therefore the details of the alleged fire risk are withheld under section 41 of the FOI act - Information provided in confidence.
