Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request data relating to domestic fires attended within your service area where the cause or contributing factor was recorded as electrical. Please provide the following data for each of the years (Jan-Dec): * 2023 * 2024 * 2025 * 2026 to date And if available, broken down by month for each year. 1. Total number of domestic fires recorded as electrical in nature. 2. The total number of domestic fires involving the following appliances or items: * air fryers * walking pads, under-desk treadmill, treadmills 1. The total number of domestic fires involving the following electrical equipment or conditions: * extension leads * extension cables * plug adaptors * overloaded sockets For clarity, where possible please include incidents identified through: * recorded cause fields * appliance involvement fields * or keyword searches of incident descriptions or free-text notes If monthly breakdown is not available for the specific appliance-level categories, please provide monthly data for total electrical domestic fires only, and annual totals for the appliance-level breakdown. If it is easier to provide this information in spreadsheet or CSV format, that would be greatly appreciated. If any part of this request exceeds cost limits, I would be grateful for partial disclosure within the appropriate limit.
