  • How long it took first and second fire engine (pump) to arrive at incident;

  • Where the fire engine(s) were deployed from;

  • The number of fire engines that attended the incident;

  • The length of time the fire engines stayed at the incident;

  • The notional cost of the LFB attending the incident.

Details of the appliance mobilised, where it was deployed from and the times recorded for arriving at the incident are also published online and can be accessed via the following link:

Things to note: 

  • Incident reports are exempt from disclosure under the FOI act via section 21 - Information accessible to applicant by other means. Detailed information about accessing a fire report can be found on LFB's website here: https://www.london-fire.gov.uk/about-us/services-and-facilities/services-we-offer/incident-reports/  which should read alongside https://www.london-fire.gov.uk/media/r4ghpwck/policy-number-0874-lfb-charges-for-information-web.pdf 

  • I am interpreting ‘Details of reporter’ to be the person who made the 999 call to LFB.  Personal information relating to the 999 caller has been withheld under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The information constitutes the personal data of a third party and disclosure into the public domain would contravene the data protection principles set out in Article 5(1) UK GDPR. The exemption is absolute and therefore not subject to the public interest test. 

  • I have included details of where to locate details of the stations from which fire responders were despatched and details of fire appliances dispatched to property above, including appliance callsign numbers.  The names of specific operational members of staff have been withheld under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The information constitutes personal data of third parties. Disclosure under FOIA is disclosure to the world at large and the individuals concerned would not reasonably expect their names to be placed into the public domain in connection with this request. Disclosure would therefore be unlawful and unfair and would contravene the first data protection principle. As section 40(2) is an absolute exemption, no public interest test is required.
