I am making a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and, insofar as any part of the requested information falls within its scope, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. This request concerns London Fire Brigade incident, on 17 January 2026, at or serving Parker Mews / Aldwych Buildings. I am not requesting a copy of the chargeable Fire/Incident Report or Mobilisation Report. Instead, I am requesting the following specific recorded information held by London Fire Brigade concerning this incident: 1. Any recorded information stating whether LFB personnel experienced any difficulty, obstruction or delay in gaining access to the incident location, including through any gate, locked entrance, emergency-access mechanism or other access point. 2. Any recorded information concerning the operation, failure or effectiveness of an emergency-access arrangement, lock, key, gate or entry system encountered during the attendance. 3. Any recorded information identifying the appliance, equipment, electrical installation or other item believed or suspected to have been involved in the ignition or origin of the fire, insofar as this can be disclosed. 4. Any recorded information concerning electrical hazards, live electrical equipment, sockets, wiring, mains equipment or other electrical safety concerns identified during the attendance. 5. Any recorded information concerning smoke spread beyond the immediate fire location, including smoke entering or affecting adjoining residential accommodation, communal areas, ventilation systems, ducts or other parts of the premises. 6. Any recorded information concerning mechanical ventilation or extraction systems and their actual or potential role in the movement of smoke during the incident. 7. The recorded time of the initial call, mobilisation, arrival of the first LFB appliance and any recorded time at which crews gained access to the relevant area, where those individual data fields are held and can be provided without supplying the chargeable report itself. For clarity, I am requesting existing recorded information or extracts/data from records that answer the above points. I am not asking LFB to provide opinions, undertake a new investigation, determine liability, attribute blame, or create information that is not already held. If some of the requested information is exempt from disclosure, please provide the remainder and identify the exemption relied upon for each withheld part. If any part of this request is considered to duplicate information available only through LFB’s chargeable incident-report service, please treat the remaining parts separately and provide any information that is otherwise disclosable under FOIA or the EIR. I would prefer the response electronically by email.
