Please provide details of the investigation into the Forest Gate Police Station fire, which occurred on 6th March 2024 (LFB Incident number 037573-06032024). Specifically:
- Has a cause of the fire been identified?
- If there were a range of possible causes, what were these and what degree of confidence is there in there in those causes?
- What allowed the fire to spread so quickly and what preventive measures could have been taken?
- What challenges were associated with controlling the fire and its aftermath? Were LFB suitably equipped to deal with this fire?
- How was the investigation conducted, and what techniques were used to determine the seat of the fire and the chronology of its progression? If the investigation is ongoing, please provide an interim report and a target date for completion of the final report.
