Request
The risk to life from a deliberate act within London's underground network is still a threat, to counter this in 2003/4 the LFB jointly developed equipment and procedures that would allow the rescue of people following a deliberate gas attack or similar on / in deep tube locations. The equipment & procedure was successfully used at Russell Sq on 7th July 2005. Does the LFB still have a capability on deep tube locations utilising the Motorised Rescue Trolly and Rescue and Recovery Team? Is the equipment ready for mobilisation ? Are staff still trained to move LUL trains in an emergency ? Are the aide memoirs still in using and kept up to date relevant to the new LUL rolling stock. Lastly can you confirm LFBs response capabilities with regards to the Elizabeth line.
