In order to fully understand the basis of the Brigade’s assessment, we would be grateful if you could provide or direct us to the following information where available:
• The audit findings relating to the inspection carried out in November 2025.
• The recommendations that were provided to the Responsible Person following the audit .
• The occupancy and capacity assumptions used when assessing the premises.
• Any assumptions regarding staffing levels or management arrangements during building use.
• Clarification of the statement in the Stage 1 response that upgrading the door mechanisms may require “removal of a wall”
• Confirmation of whether all final exit doors serving the ground floor premises were inspected as part of the audit.
• Confirmation of the role of the officer(s) who carried out the audit, and the capacity in which the assessment was undertaken (for example whether it formed part of a formal inspection, advisory visit, or supervised assessment)
• General confirmation of the level of competency or qualification framework applied to the audit, in line with the Brigade’s usual practice for assessing public-access premises of this type.
