Case reference FOI2026/00999

Request
How many fires caused by air conditioning units have there been in residential premises over the past five years from 2021-2025, and then 2026 to date?
How many fires related to/caused by air conditioning units have there been in commercial premises over the past five years from 2021-2025, and then 2026 to date? If it’s not possible to separate them depending on the type of premises, the total caused by air conditioning units in any premises would be great if possible.
Could I have this per calendar year if possible, if not financial year or whichever 12-month reporting period is most easily accessible would be great. Can I also have it broken down per year please.
