Request

Dear London Fire Brigade Information Access Team, Block E, Grand Union Heights, Northwick Road, Wembley, HA0 1LF. I am making a Freedom of Information / Environmental Information request regarding the fire safety situation at Grand Union Heights, particularly Blocks D and E. Following the evacuation of Grand Union Heights on 29 April 2026 due to serious fire safety concerns, I would be grateful if you could provide copies of the information held by London Fire Brigade relating to Blocks D and E, including: 1. Any Fire Safety Audit, inspection report, assessment, inspection notes or findings relating to Blocks D and E of Grand Union Heights from April 2026 to the present date. 2. Copies of the Enforcement Notices issued in relation to Blocks D and E, including any schedules, appendices or supporting documents. 3. Any documents identifying the specific fire safety deficiencies or breaches found in Blocks D and E. 4. Any correspondence between London Fire Brigade and Sovereign Network Group (SNG), or its representatives, concerning the fire safety deficiencies, evacuation, remediation works or reoccupation of Blocks D and E. 5. Any subsequent inspection, review, reassessment or other fire safety assessment carried out after the evacuation concerning whether Blocks D and E are safe to occupy. 6. Any information held by LFB showing the current fire safety status or risk level of Blocks D and E, including whether the conditions which led to the evacuation and/or the original “INTOLERABLE” fire risk assessment have subsequently been remedied or reduced. 7. Any information, assessment or correspondence held by LFB concerning whether residents of Blocks D and E can safely return to their homes before the required remediation works have been completed. This information is particularly important because residents of Blocks D and E have been advised to remain evacuated, while we have also been informed that temporary accommodation arrangements for some private tenants may end on 30 November 2026. I would therefore particularly appreciate any information held by LFB which establishes whether Block E is currently considered safe or unsafe for residential occupation and, if its fire safety status has changed since the evacuation, when and on what technical basis that change occurred. I would prefer to receive the information electronically by email. If any part of this request is considered too broad, please provide the information that can be disclosed and advise me how I can refine the remainder of the request.
