Cavalier House, 46–50 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2SS. I am writing regarding the Article 30 Enforcement Notice issued to Comer Property Management Limited on 21 October 2025, reference 27/009077/LB. I would be grateful if you could provide an update on the current status of this enforcement notice. Has all the improvements been done as required? In particular, could you please confirm: 1. Whether the enforcement notice has been complied with by Comer Property Management Limited, or whether an extension has been granted? 2. Has there been any discussion about EV cars and charge points? Or the presence of electric bikes in flats in the building?

Response

Our Prevention and Protection department have provided the following information:

1. Whether the enforcement notice has been complied with by Comer Property Management Limited, or whether an extension has been granted?

Regarding the Enforcement Notice issued to Comer Property Management (as listed on the public risk register), we are aware that the compliance deadline has passed. We remain in active discussions with the management company regarding this matter.

2. Has there been any discussion about EV cars and charge points? Or the presence of electric bikes in flats in the building?

During our recent inspection, we noted that there are currently no EV charging points or electric bikes on balconies or within the common areas. This aligns with our expectations given the fire safety risks associated with the external walls. Any future installation of EV charging infrastructure must be subject to a comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment. Please note that under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, our enforcement powers are limited to the common parts of the building and do not extend inside residents' private accommodation.
