Fire at Cooper’s Yard SE19 1TN on 16th March 2025 What reports were made following the fire on 16th March? Could I please have copies? What follow-up work has now been done with regard to 1-3 Cooper’s Yard? What follow-up work is planned with regard to the fire safety of 1-3 Cooper’s Yard? What is the London Fire Brigade’s policy protocol when a fire safety risk is pointed out to you and a safety check requested? Have you followed your protocol in this instance? What powers do you have to perform fire safety checks on a dwelling place when neither the landlord nor tenant wants them to be done? What powers do you have to enforce fire safety measures where rented accommodation is found to be unsafe? Have you made any further investigations – fire investigations- or done any fire safety checks or audits on 1-3 Cooper’s Yard? If so, what were the findings and please may I have a copy? If you haven’t made any further investigations or done any fire safety checks, why not, and who made that decision? Please provide me with the name, number and email address of an individual person who is responsible for following up on this case.
