FOI release
Freedom of Information request - Enforcement notices served on HRBs from 2018 to 2026
Case reference FOI2026/01092
Received 4 September 2026
Published 1 October 2026
Request
I am writing to request information on all enforcement notices served on Higher Risk Buildings (defined by the Building Safety Act 2022 as at least 18m in height or at least 7 storeys with at least 2 residential units) within LFB's jurisdiction between 1 January 2018 and the date of this request. I would be grateful for this information to be presented as an Excel file. For clarification, the information I seek is identical to the information presented in the public notices section under the community tab on the LFB website, save for my request is limited to HRBs. The public notices cannot be extracted and are not searchable in the same manner as the data sets. The data set titled 'Regulatory Fire Safety Inspections and Audits' is limited in information in that it lists all residential buildings, it does not define any property by height, and it does not include details of the breaches under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Please respond via email to the @whatdotheyknow.com email address this request came from. Should the information I seek already be in the public domain, please direct me to the relevant disclosure log or data set.
