Case reference FOI2026/01170

Request

A list of all premises currently holding a Petroleum Storage Certificate under the Petroleum (Consolidation) Regulations 2014, giving for each: premises name; full address and postcode; certificate holder (company or trading name — where the holder is a private individual the name may be withheld); date the current certificate was issued; date the premises was first licensed or certificated, where recorded; fee band (A, B or C) or total storage capacity in litres; number of tanks; and whether the premises is retail (dispensing to the public) or non-retail. The same fields for all premises whose Petroleum Storage Certificate, or petroleum licence under the Petroleum (Consolidation) Act 1928, has expired, lapsed, been surrendered, revoked, cancelled or not renewed, together with the date and reason where recorded and the last recorded status of the tanks (in use, decommissioned, removed, unknown). Please provide this for as far back as your records extend in electronic form. Please supply the information as a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) rather than PDF. To be clear, this is a request for the lists themselves, not for a site-history search of any individual premises, so the Petroleum Group's chargeable Environmental Search service is not the appropriate route. Regulation 8(2)(a) of the EIR provides that no charge may be made for allowing access to any public registers or lists of environmental information held by the authority. If any part of this request would exceed the appropriate limit or be considered manifestly unreasonable, please tell me which part and provide the remainder. In that case please provide part 1 in full first, and part 2 from 1 January 2000 onwards.
